Grant Manager – Graduate School of Social Work
Responsibilities: pre- and post-award management of all grants and contracts proposed and awarded for research and other sponsored activities in the Graduate School of Social Work (GSSW); superior customer service to faculty seeking sponsored funding, principal investigators and project administrators; and work closely with the Office of Sponsored Programs to ensure compliance with federal regulations, sponsor terms and University policy to ensure proper stewardship of sponsor funds.
Requirements: Four years of experience working with grants and contract in a university or non-profit setting (a graduate degree in business or public administration may be substituted for experience); proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; strong interpersonal, financial and follow-through skills. Bachelor's degree in business administration or finance and familiarity with PeopleSoft Financials and Human Resources and Kronos are preferred.
This position requires exceptional attention to detail, ability to work under pressure to meet competing deadlines, ability to take initiative and prioritize, and to work independently and as a part of a team.
